ADVANCED ELECTRICAL TESTING
Every sandwich busduct manufactured at Elins undergoes rigorous electrical testing to validate its performance under operational and overload conditions. Our in-house electrical test lab simulates real-world thermal, mechanical, and dielectric stresses, ensuring that each system is safe, stable, and ready for commissioning.
Electrical Tests Conducted In-House include:
- High-Voltage Dielectric Test (HV)
- Insulation Resistance Test (IR)
- Contact Resistance Test for busbar joints
- Temperature Rise Test under rated current(upto 6300A)
Test conducted at external agency:
- Ingress Protection (IP) Test — IP42 / IP54 / IP65 based on design
Equipped to conduct following additional tests:
- Resistance to abnormal heat and fire due to internal electric effects (Glow Wire Test)
